About & sourcing
Meet the gamer behind Leonida Loft.
Hey, I'm Chad. I've been playing Grand Theft Auto since the original game landed on PlayStation, back when the series was a top-down experience and felt completely different from anything else I'd played.
Some of my favorite gaming memories involve staying up way too late, lights off, volume turned down, telling myself I just needed to finish one more mission. And honestly, some things never change.
San Andreas is still my favorite GTA. The atmosphere, the characters, CJ's story, and the world Rockstar created have stuck with me all these years. That's a big part of why I started Leonida Loft: a place to share my own thoughts about GTA VI, revisit the games I grew up with, and connect with people who love the franchise as much as I do.
I'm especially interested in the storytelling, characters, missions, and all the little details that make Rockstar's worlds feel alive. You'll find original commentary, theories, nostalgia, gameplay discoveries, and livestreams. I don't claim to know everything about GTA VI. I'd rather experience the game, form my own opinions, and have some good conversations along the way.
Whether you're a GTA veteran or this is your first one, pull up a chair. Glad you're here.
Who runs it
I do. Leonida Loft is my channel, and Runtime Rodeo LLC is the business behind it. Leonida Loft is an independent, unofficial fan channel. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto VI and all related marks belong to their respective owners.
How every claim is labeled
- Confirmed. Rockstar said it: an official trailer, the Rockstar Newswire, or the game's own site. A secondhand report never reaches this label.
- Shown. It is visible in footage or screenshots Rockstar released. Shown is not the same as explained.
- Reported. A reputable publication reported it, and I name which one. Rockstar hasn't confirmed it.
- My read. My inference from the evidence, labeled on screen so you can disagree with it.
- Unconfirmed. Possible, but nothing official backs it. Community material and rumors land here.
Each video's description lists the sources behind it, and every claim I track is listed with its label and source.
How the videos and carousels are made
- Footage from Rockstar Games is credited on screen, and any music in it is muted. Carousel frames come from the same official footage and are credited on every slide.
- Background art and object illustrations are made with AI image tools. They show places and everyday objects, never the game, its characters, its logos, or real people.
- Most videos are narrated with a synthetic voice, and some are in my own voice, the same one you'll hear live on launch night. Videos in the synthetic voice carry the platform's AI label on TikTok and Instagram, and I don't post them to Facebook or Threads, where that label can't be set when the post is published. YouTube doesn't ask for a label on a narrator voice; the description says it instead.
- Scripts are drafted with AI assistance. I review and approve the research, scripts, and edits before anything is published.
- From launch, gameplay in my videos is my own, played on an Xbox Series X and labeled My gameplay.
What I won't do
- Use leaked or stolen material, or report on it.
- Present a guess as a fact, or run "insider" countdowns.
- Chase outrage about delays for views.
Where to watch
New Shorts go out every day on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, with longer breakdowns on YouTube; Threads and Facebook get the ones in my own voice. Launch night, Wednesday, November 18 at 10:30 PM Central (11:30 PM Eastern), I go live on YouTube and Twitch.
Work with me
Partnerships and press: [email protected]. I only take partnerships that fit a sourced, independent fan channel, and sponsored content is always labeled. Audience figures and sponsorship rules.
Accessibility
I want this site to work for everyone, and I aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA. It works with a keyboard, every label is written out instead of shown by color alone, the moving backgrounds stay still when your device asks for reduced motion, and the Pause motion button at the bottom of every page stops them in this browser. If something here doesn't work for you, email [email protected] and tell me where. I'll fix it, or get you the same information another way.
